International students from low-income families are encouraged to enroll full-time in University College London’s undergraduate program through the UCL Global Undergraduate Scholarship.

Candidates must meet all of the following requirements, however they may be from any nation outside of the UK:
• come from a lower-income background*;
• be able to pay the overseas fee rate;

The duration and rewards of the UCL Global Undergraduate Scholarships for 2025–2026
In 2025–2026, up to 33 UCL Global Undergraduate Scholarships will be available, comprising:
- 10 scholarships that cover full tuition costs, maintenance allowance, and a fixed allowance for other expenses (such as visa fees and the Immigration Health Surcharge). At a later time, the precise maintenance and fixed allowance amounts will be verified.
- There are 23 scholarships that solely cover full tuition.
- Three scholarships, exclusively for Indian students, that pay the entire cost of tuition.
How to Apply (Step-by-Step) for the 2025 UCL Global Undergraduate Scholarship
In order to be eligible for the UCL Global Undergraduate Scholarship, you need to have applied for admission to UCL.
Details on how to use the online scholarship application:
- Enter your usual information to log in to Portico.
- Select the “View” button for the “Active Application” for which you want to submit a funding application.
- Select “Funding” from the menu at the top of the application screen.
- The financing page is now visible to you. Click “Check and apply” under “Funds Available” to see which funds you qualify for.
- Select the name of the scholarship program for which you want to apply.
NB: You must complete a different scholarship application form for each program for which you want to apply for financing.
