The 2025 University of Leicester ESPRC Scholarships are currently accepting applications. The primary funding source for engineering and physical scientific research in the United Kingdom is the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC).

Qualifications for the 2025 University of Leicester Scholarships
You must:
- possess, or anticipate obtaining, at least the equivalent of a UK first or upper-second-class degree in a relevant topic, or a comparable degree from another country, in order to be eligible for the University of Leicester Scholarships.
- Fulfill the English language standards set forth by the University of Leicester.

The University of Leicester ESPRC Scholarships provide:
- A four-year stipend at UKRI rates (£19,237 per year for 2024–2025; prices for 2025–2026 will be confirmed);
- A four-year UK fee waiver
- The total RTSG for each project is £8,500.

- Proof of English language competency, if appropriate; degree certificates and transcripts of studies already finished, as well as, if feasible, transcripts of studies ongoing
