Meagan Rochelle, a tenacious woman who once left college after receiving a 0.78 grade point, has made an amazing academic return.
She received her bachelor’s degree with honors from Texas Southern University (TSU) with an impressive 3.50 GPA out of 4.00. Meagan shared her resilience journey and celebrated her accomplishment on Instagram.
She described how she did not take her academics properly, which contributed to her failure in her first attempt at university.
“You are familiar with my narrative if you know me. In 2014, I graduated from college with a GPA of 0.78. She acknowledged, “I didn’t take school seriously, I went to LSU every other day, and I was always partying.”

Meagan put more emphasis on the present than on her future at the time. Her academic struggles led her to drop out, but she remained determined to turn her life around.
Almost a decade later, Meagan decided to return to school with a renewed sense of purpose and commitment. With hard work, discipline, and faith, she excelled academically and achieved a GPA of 3.50 out of 4.00, a stark contrast to her earlier performance.
Back then, I didn’t think about the future; now, I’m eager to see what God has in store for me. “It’s only going to get better from here,” she thought.
Meagan attributed her achievement to her trust in God, who she stated was her guide throughout her academic career.
