Nigerian actor Pete Edochie, 76, receives a double honorary doctorate
The International School of Technology and Management (ISTM) University in Togo has granted 76-year-old Nigerian actor Pete Edochie a double honorary doctorate.
Nigerian actor Pete Edochie is regarded as one of the country’s most gifted performers. Africa Magic has given him an Industry Merit Award, and the Africa Film Academy has recognized him with a Lifetime Achievement Award.
The International School of Technology and Management (ISTM), Togo, granted Pete a double honorary doctorate degree in arts and literature in recognition of his artistic engagement and development within the Nigerian creative sector.

The university representative, who praised the Veteran Actor for all of his hard work and called him a pioneer in everything that the younger ones are copying, gave the award to him at his home as he was decked up in his PhD regalia.
“For all of his efforts, and for being the first at everything that the younger ones are imitating.” These honors are bestowed to you by the Dr. of Literature and ISTM Management. The agent said, “Congratulations, sir.”
