A remarkable African woman makes her mother happy by earning two PhDs in health science.
After her mother walked her to school like a nursery school student, Dr. Cathy Mwangi, a remarkable and smart lady, received her second PhD degree from the Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT) in Kenya. She celebrated her graduation in style.
Before pursuing a second PhD in health communication, Dr. Cathy Mwangi had previously obtained a PhD in health administration. In addition, she holds a Master of Business Administration degree.
Dr. Cathy Mwangi recounted how her mother got up early to be ready to walk her to school and celebrated her earning her second PhD.

She added, “Today, I honor my dearest, most beautiful mother, who got up at 4:00 a.m. to be prepared to walk me to the graduation square as I make my second PhD at JKUAT, just as she did on my first day of nursery school.”
This woman has walked with me with unfathomable love, and I adore her. I ask God to keep blessing you and to provide for you in every way possible. “Mommy, you have my undying love,” she continued.
According to Dr. Cathy Mwangi, she avoided a mental health catastrophe because to her second PhD. “This PhD kept me sane and prevented a mental health crisis.” Everyone handles stress in a different way, but for me, it involves pressure and humor. I perform well under duress.She posted on Linkedin, “I thrive under pressure…makes me forget what I have to deal with.”
