A brilliant economist celebrates earning Federal University Oye Ekiti’s (FUOYE) first female PhD.

The first female doctorate (PhD) holder at the Federal University of Oye Ekiti, Nigeria, was Oluwaseun Bamigboye, a great economist from Nigeria.

Dr. Oluwaseun Bamigboye earned a Doctor of Philosophy from the Department of Agricultural Economics and Extension, making her the first female PhD recipient from Federal University Oye Ekiti since its founding in 2011.

Dr. Oluwaseun Bamigboye celebrated her achievement on LinkedIn and praised her spouse and supervisors, Dr. Ogunjimi, Prof. Fakayode, and Prof. Adeniji, for their support and guidance during her academic career.

As a licensed agricultural economist, Dr. Oluwaseum Bamigboye can assess specific agricultural circumstances and devise a plan to maintain and improve them over time for significant financial gains.
