The African Institute for Mathematical Sciences (AIMS) develops a core set of problem-solving abilities, including statistics, modeling, estimation, computation, approximation, and data analysis.

The African Institute for Mathematical Sciences Scholarship requirements for 2025

In order to be eligible for the African Institute for Mathematical Sciences Scholarship, candidates must:

  • Have a four-year university degree in mathematics or any other science or engineering field with a substantial mathematical component, or anticipate obtaining one by the start of AIMS training.

Women are strongly encouraged to apply, and candidate records must show outstanding leadership, community service, and math abilities.
