The 2025 University of Rochester Summer Research Program is open to enthusiastic candidates, according to the Department of Chemistry at the University of Rochester in the United States.
The goal of the University of Rochester International Student Summer Research Program is to give talented chemistry undergraduates and master’s students from around the globe the chance to carry out top-notch research at the university.
The program is designed for exceptional overseas students who want to enroll in a PhD program in chemistry.
Qualifications for the Summer Research Program for International Students at the University of Rochester
You must:
• Not be a US citizen or current resident;
• Be studying outside of the US;
• Have not pursued or are not currently enrolled in a PhD program;
• Be enrolled in an undergraduate or master’s program that focuses on chemistry or a related field (such as physics, biology, engineering, computer science, etc.);
• Have plans to pursue a PhD in chemistry.
Summer Research Program Benefits at the University of Rochester, 2025
• Participants in the University of Rochester Summer Research Program get a weekly stipend to help with living expenses, as well as health insurance, on-campus housing, and up to $1250 for travel expenses.
• Tuition and related student registration fees are also covered by the program.
• Under the guidance of a chemistry department faculty member, you will conduct research full-time.In addition to living on campus when not performing research, you will have the chance to take part in a poster event and a seminar series intended for summer research students.
Throughout the summer, there will be several chances to network.
• All participants must remain for a minimum of eight weeks and a maximum of ten weeks; there are no courses linked to this program.
