Completely Funded Scholarships from the Rosa Luxemburg Stiftung for 2026

The recipient of the Rosa Luxemburg Stiftung Scholarship enjoys the following advantages:
Regarding Masters: Along with a 20€ lump sum, the basic scholarship is worth 850€ each month. There are also extra subsidies of up to 86€ available for nursing and health insurance.
For PhD: The doctoral fellowship, which is worth 1350€ a month, is mostly unaffected by one’s salary. There are also additional 100€ lump sum payments available to cover research expenses and other health care subsidies. Funding for stays overseas (for research, attending conferences, etc.) is also available to scholarship recipients.
The organization can finance language classes in German and Euro.
Qualifications for the Rosa Luxemburg Stiftung Scholarship
The candidate must meet each of the standards listed below in order to be eligible for the Rosa Luxemburg Stiftung Scholarship:
• Language Requirement: high proficiency in English. Proficiency in German (B2 level or higher)
• All nations in the world are eligible. Women, students from non-academic and immigrant backgrounds, those in need of social assistance, individuals with disabilities, and those who have demonstrated achievement and dedication are given preference. We strongly encourage applications from technical college graduates as well as undergraduate and graduate students in scientific and technical fields.
• Only applications submitted in English or German will be accepted.
• MA Students must be enrolled in a German university that is either state-owned or state-recognized.
A letter of admission (Zulassung) from a German university or a certificate of enrollment (Immatrikulationsbescheinigung) for the upcoming semester are required for PhD candidates. By the time the scholarship begins, at the latest, your enrollment must be recorded.
• A basic understanding of German (we can finance additional sessions). At the very least, excellent command of the English language
• Political, social, and/or community service endeavors.
