Continue your education in Germany. Good news! The Leo Baeck fellowship is open right now. We will go into great detail regarding this fellowship, its advantages, and the application process in this post.

International students can apply for a fully funded research scholarship through the Leo Baeck Fellowship program 2025–2026. A monthly stipend of EUR 1,550 and a monthly research cost allowance of EUR 100 are provided by this award.

Doctoral candidates pursuing a dissertation in the history and culture of Central European Judaism are the target audience for the international Leo Baeck Fellowship Program. All projects have a connection to German-speaking Judaism, regardless of their time period, discipline (literature, philosophy, history, musicology), or geographic location (Europe, America, Israel).

The program provides one-year financial support as well as networking and scientific exchange opportunities. Doctoral candidates from any university in the globe, regardless of nationality, are eligible. The Leo Baeck Institute London and the Study Foundation collaborate to offer two workshops that bring the fellows together while they are still at their separate universities.
