• A scholarship of 2,670 EUR per month for researchers who have finished their doctorate within the last four years. a 3,150 EUR per month grant for postdoctoral researchers (those who have finished their doctorate within the last 12 years).
• An adjustable start date and, for seasoned researchers, the choice to divide the fellowship into up to three stays.

Qualifications for the Humboldt Research Fellowship
Applicants must fulfill the following requirements in order to be considered for a Humboldt Research Fellowship:

• Attained within four years of earning a doctorate or equivalent academic degree (PhD, CSc, or equivalent).

• Language proficiency: German is required for the humanities, social sciences, and medicine; otherwise, English is required; engineering and the natural sciences require either English or German.
