Scholarship Coverage The following advantages are offered to the recipient of a Bangkok Government Scholarship:
• Tuition fees (fees or additional fees levied by the institution or the student’s chosen program are not included). It is necessary to make advance arrangements between the students and the professor or program.
• A monthly stipend and lodging of 16,000 Baht;
• Each leg’s airfare, which cannot be more than 20,000 Baht for students from African nations and 12,000 Baht for those from Asian nations. (Students are required to purchase their tickets; they will receive their money back when they get to Chulalongkorn University.
Qualifications for Scholarships at Chulalongkorn University
The following requirements must be fulfilled by applicants in order to be eligible for Chulalongkorn University Scholarships:
English is the required language, and all nations worldwide are eligible.
• Students who have been enrolled in any program at Chulalongkorn University for more than one semester, whether from ASEAN or non-ASEAN nations, are not eligible to apply for the scholarship.
• Candidates must have earned a minimum undergraduate grade point average of 2.75 and a minimum graduate grade point average of 3.25.
• A minimum IELTS score of 5.0 and a computer-based TOEFL score of 500 or 173 are needed.
- The applicant cannot be older than 35.
• After graduating from Chulalongkorn University, faculty, researchers, and academic staff who plan to return to teach or work at their home universities are preferred.
