In order to be eligible for the Macquarie University Scholarship, you need to meet the following criteria:

• Fulfill the academic and English prerequisites for a bachelor’s or postgraduate coursework degree from Macquarie University.
• For postgraduate applications, obtain a minimum WAM equivalent of 65; for undergraduate applications, obtain a minimum ATAR equivalent of 85.
• Gain admission to a bachelor’s or postgraduate program at Macquarie University, starting in 2025 or 2026.
- In accordance with your offer letter, enroll and start your course. Deferring the start is not permitted.
• Throughout your course, continue to enroll in eight standard units per academic year, or a full-time study load.· Adhere to the academic progression policies of the university.
• This award is only available for on-campus coursework.
• This scholarship will not be awarded to students who have already been awarded one from Macquarie University.
• If you have applied or are enrolled at Macquarie University International College, you are ineligible.
• If you are a citizen of Australia or New Zealand or have permanent status in Australia, you are ineligible.
- Depending on the results determined by the scholarships and awards committee, you could have to repay any scholarships you received while attending Macquarie University if you leave your degree before it is finished.
How Can I Apply for a Scholarship at Macquarie University?
