Requirements for Rotary Peace Fellowship Eligibility

Professionals with experience in international relations, peace, and conflict prevention and resolution are eligible to apply for Rotary Peace Fellowships. Additionally, candidates need to fulfill the following criteria:
• All nations in the world are eligible.
Excellent leadership abilities; a strong commitment to global understanding and peace as evidenced by professional and academic accomplishments as well as personal or community service; proficiency in English, or a second language is highly encouraged; applicants for master’s degrees must have at least three years of relevant full-time work or volunteer experience; applicants for certificates must have at least five years of relevant full-time work or volunteer experience; and applicants must complete the eligibility quiz.

 

How Do I Apply for Peace Fellowships from Rotary?

The guidelines below must be followed in order to apply for Rotary Peace Fellowships:

2. Examine each Rotary Peace Center’s programs and curriculum. Two centers that you like will be asked to be ranked.

3. Get your application ready by assembling your exam results, transcripts, academic or professional recommendations, essays, and resume/CV. All content needs to be in English. Scores and transcripts are not required for certificate candidates.

  1. To seek an interview, get in touch with your local Rotary district prior to submitting your application. The application process must have district endorsement. For candidates with district support, club interviews and recommendations are highly encouraged but not necessary.

    5. Apply online to your district by May 15th before any interviews take place.

    6. Finish the district representatives’ interview. By July 1st, districts had to send their endorsements to The Rotary Foundation.

    7. Await the November announcement of the selection outcomes. You will be informed which Peace Center you will study at if you are selected for a fellowship.

  2. Submit an application to be admitted to the university that houses your Peace Center. You have not been accepted to the university only because you were chosen for the fellowship.
