In the academic year 2025–2026, Rotary District 1090 in the Thames Valley intends to grant one scholarship for USD 30,000 for postgraduate study at the University of Reading.
Scholarships for secondary, undergraduate, or graduate education are provided by clubs and districts. Funds raised locally or through district or international grants from the Rotary Foundation can be used to support these scholarships.
Rotary Scholarships are available to candidates who want to participate in a master’s degree or professional development certificate program at one of our partner universities.

Requirements for Rotary Graduate Scholarship at University of Reading
To be accepted for the Rotary Graduate Scholarship,
• Applicants’ education, careers, and community activity must fall within Rotary’s area of concern, protecting the environment.
• Candidates must be non-UK nationals from low- or middle-income nations.

Rotary will only accept applications from candidates who have been offered places to study on one of the following one-year full-time master’s courses at Reading University, starting September/October 2025:
• The Department of Geography & Environmental Science offers an MSc in Environmental Management.
• MSc Climate, Environment and Development in the Graduate Institute of International Development, Agriculture & Economics.
