QuestBridge Scholarship applications are now being accepted. We shall go into great depth about this scholarship program, including its advantages and the detailed application procedure, in this post.
For American students, the QuestBridge Scholarships 2025 offer full funding. Seniors in high school are eligible for these scholarships. The scholarship, which is valued over $200,000, covers the whole four-year program.
By providing matching scholarships and tuition grants to participants in the Texas Tuition Promise Fund, the state’s prepaid tuition program, the Texas Match the Promise Foundation encourages families to save for college.
At qualified Texas public colleges and universities, Promise Fund tuition units are equivalent to a set amount of tuition for undergraduate residents and necessary fees for the entire school. In order to augment participant contributions to the fund during the current Promise Fund sales season, Match the Promise will grant Promise Fund tuition units to eligible participants.

QuestBridge offers the National College Match grant in collaboration with 40 top American colleges and universities. With no parental assistance or student loan debt, the award pays for all college expenditures, including tuition, lodging and board, travel, books, and supplies. However, keep in mind that the scholarship can require a student to contribute through job study or savings.
Two Scholarship Levels:
Matching Scholarship
The same kind of tuition units will be matched up to $500 in participant tuition unit purchases. Scholarship recipients will receive a two-to-one match if their family makes $75,000 or less. A one-to-one match will be given to all other scholarship recipients.
The Promise Scholarship
A one-time grant of $2,000 in tuition units at current costs will be given out. Up to 150 applicants with the highest scores will be eligible for matching scholarships. Promise Scholarships will be awarded to the top five candidates.

Qualifications for QuestBridge Scholarships
The candidate must meet each of the standards listed below in order to be eligible for QuestBridge scholarships:
• Eligible Countries: USA (U.S. citizens or permanent residents or high school students, regardless of citizenship, attending high school in the U.S.)
Required Language(s): English
• Mostly As in the most difficult classes offered (typically Honors, AP, or IB level courses).
• A class ranking in the top 5–10% of the graduating class;
• SAT or PSAT scores exceeding 1310;
• ACT composite scores exceeding 28
Strong writing skills, a keen mind, and perseverance are demonstrated in essays and recommendation letters.These figures should give you a decent indication of what QuestBridge is looking for in a student, even though they are not rigid guidelines and each candidate will be evaluated in its own unique circumstances.
How to Apply for Scholarships at QuestBridge
To apply for QuestBridge scholarships, please adhere to the guidelines below:
Required Material:
1. The online application for National College Match, which consists of two essays and short answer questions
2. Two recommendation letters from instructors in foundational courses
3. Your high school counselor’s secondary school report
4. A school profile (preferred but unnecessary)
5. A transcript from high school
6. The results of any standardized tests. Test results from the SAT and/or ACT are strongly advised.
7. Applications are turned in by the end of September. Up to 12 college partners will be ranked by candidates for consideration in October. Applicants will receive notification of their selection as finalists later in October. For the particular universities they have ranked, finalists will go on to submit more materials. With a full four-year scholarship to their college, individuals who have been matched with one can rest easy in December!
8. As part of QuestBridge Regular Decision, applicants who did not match with a college or who were not chosen as finalists in October are eligible to reapply to other institutions at no additional cost.
