• The €2,000 scholarship is only available in the first year of a two-year Master’s degree if the applicant is applying for that program.
Qualifications for Scholarships at Maynooth University
Applicants must fulfill the following requirements in order to be eligible for Maynooth University Scholarships:
• All nations worldwide are eligible; English or Chinese is the required language.
• Candidates must plan to enroll in the university’s full-time taught master’s program starting in the 2024–2025 academic year.
• Apply on www.pac.ie and meet the prerequisites for the Maynooth University taught master’s program they plan to enroll in in 2024–2025.
- To be eligible for a Taught Master’s Scholarship, candidates must have earned at least 2.1 honors in their undergraduate studies.
• As part of the regular PAC.ie application process for a Taught Master’s program at Maynooth University, applicants who are not graduates or alumni of the university must upload their final honors undergraduate degree transcripts for their level 8 degree by June 30, 2024.
• Applicants who have received a student grant for their final year of undergraduate studies should include documentation of their award in the appropriate section of the online scholarship application. This will be taken into account in cases where two applicants are ranked equally based on their final year undergraduate grades. - Applicants cannot be recent graduates or enrolled in a PhD or Master’s program. Instead, prospective students interested in research programs should apply for the John and Pat Hume Doctoral Research Awards at Maynooth University.
