Doctoral Students

Dormitory furnishings include closets, wastebaskets, mini-refrigerators, bookcases or shelves, desks, desk chairs, and single or bunk beds. Free high-speed internet connection is available in every room. Common spaces in every dorm include self-cook kitchens or kitchenettes, study lounges, TV/social lounges, self-service laundry and ironing rooms, and spaces for games and guests. In addition to the normal 24-hour hot water and central heating, every level has shared facilities and bathrooms.
Qualifications for the Scholarship at Bilkent University
The candidate must meet each of the requirements listed below in order to be eligible for the Bilkent University Scholarship:
- English is the required language. IELTS (at least 6.5 average and 5.5 from each component), TOEFL IBT (at least 87), or Bilkent COPE (at least C).
- All nations in the world are eligible.
- MSC students or recent BSc graduates must have a minimum CGPA of 2.80/4.00 at the time of application.
- If you are a Turkish national living in Turkey, you must have an ALES score of less than 55 (quantitative).
- Otherwise, a quantitative score of 153 on the GRE General Test is needed. However, we encourage you to apply if you have a good background and are off by a little margin.
