15-year-old boy graduates US high school with 4.50GPA, set to become an Engineer at 18

A brilliant 15-year-old boy named Ishmale Powell has graduated from Page High School, Greensboro in the United States with an outstanding cumulative grade point average of 4.50.

Ishmale Powell is a North Carolina kid who graduated from Page High School, a component of Guilford County Schools with an exceptional total grade point of 4.50.

Ishmale did not only graduate with a remarkable grade, but he also made history as the youngest graduate in the Guilford County Schools class of 2018.

In an interview with WCNC, Ishmale discussed his accomplishment and said he feels a wave of excitement as he looks forward to the opportunity and exciting experience that lie ahead. “I’m excited! I can’t wait to get started. I’m excited for the experience,” he said.

However, despite his excitement, Ishmale expressed concern about the social aspect, stating that he had to forgo it in high school because he was the youngest in his class.

“I’m a little nervous about the social aspect. I had to give that up in high school. I’ve always been the youngest in my class,” he said. “It was hard work. But this is the first step for the rest of my life,” he added.

Due to his exceptional academic performance, he was able to skip two middle school grades and enroll in high school courses during his middle school years, which allowed him to enter his senior year two years ahead of schedule.

Ishmale stated that in order to pursue his goal of becoming an astrophysicist, he will be majoring in computer engineering and minoring in aerospace engineering at the University of North Carolina, Charlotte in the United States.
